This recognition allows for the free flow of data to these jurisdictions without requiring additional safeguards. These currently include:
-

EU–US and Swiss–US Data Privacy Frameworks

In certain circumstances, the DPF offers a binding arbitration resolution mechanism for unresolved complaints.
Standard Contractual Clauses
For transfers of personal data to countries that do not have an adequacy decision from the European Commission, UK, or Swiss Federal Council, we rely on appropriate safeguards. These include, but are not limited to, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) endorsed by the European Commission. These SCCs offer robust contractual guarantees between transacting parties, designed to provide strong data protection standards. Their content is fixed and can be reviewed
These clauses are utilized for data transfers from the EEA, UK, and Switzerland to any third country not covered by an adequacy decision. Whenever necessary and where a transfer isn’t covered by an adequacy decision, MoreThanDigital employs SCCs or other approved safeguards (such as Binding Corporate Rules, if applicable) to guarantee the protection of your data.
Assurance
Our comprehensive approach to data protection ensures that users’ personal information remains secure and is processed in compliance with applicable data protection laws, providing users with a high level of trust in our services.
